The Seventh Day Adventist College of Education (SDACoE) in Agona in the Ashanti Region has organized their 8th SRC Week from 9th to 16th September, 2023, at the school premises.

The students celebrated the week-long programme with various activities including inter-Hall soccer competition (male/female); SDACoE Most Strongest; SDACOE Awards and Dinner Night; SDACoE Most famous; Inter-Hall Bible Quiz; Old School Festival; By The Fire Side; and a float.
The students walked the principal streets of Agona town cladded in the anniversary shirts and caps during the float. The float was to inform the townsfolks about the impending programme.
The inter-hall soccer competition saw stiff competition between Halls of Residence on campus. Both male and female sportsmen showed their prowess in trying to help their individual Halls of residence lift the coveted trophy for the competition.
The strong males on campus battled it out in the SDACoE Most Strongest competition. Tasks in this competition included participants lifting, pulling or pushing heavy objects such as heavy vehicular tyres and metals.
SDACoE Most famous award was to honour the most popular students on campus who have used their fame to help push an agenda such as awareness creation, sensitization, and philanthropy, among others.
Students were tested on their knowledge in the bible at the Inter-Hall Bible Quiz competition.
The Old School Festival saw students dressed in old-fashioned style throughout the day. From clothes and shoes to wigs and bags, students demonstrated how creative and stylish they are in showcasing times past.
Students clustered around a huge bonfire that illuminated the campus and brought life to the night as they witness ‘By The Fire Side’ experience which was part of the Week Celebration.
Deserving students and staff were presented with various awards while they enjoyed good music, food and drinks at the ‘Awards and Dinner Night’.
