H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ceremoniously broke ground for the construction of the Minerals Income Investment Fund Ghana MIIF Technical Training Centre at the University of Mines and Technology.
The centre, once completed, will house a 500-seater capacity auditorium, modern lecture halls, a comprehensive library, and administrative offices and will serve as a hub for practical programmes in metalsmithing, jewel technology, and other essential skills crucial for Ghana's jewellery sector.
