A team from IntercoAfrica, an online media production outlet, have visited the leadership of the University for Development Studies Medical School in Tamale, Northern Region of Ghana. This courtesy call was to familiarize themselves with the everyday activities in the school and also see how they can help promote the school.
Present at the meeting was the Dean of UDS Medical School, Prof. Tabiri. The Vice Dean, Prof. Helegbe, registrar of the school, and leadership of the Students Representative Council (SRC) were also present.
IntercoAfrica.Kom team were represented by the founder and Managing Editor, Yaw Pee Yaw, the Programmes Manager for Asaase Radio (formerly, radio 123) in Tamale, Yaw Adjei Danquah (YAD), and Mashud Noexcuse, a rep for IntercoAfrica.Kom.
The Managing Editor for IntercoAfrica.Kom, Yaw Pee Yaw, addressed the student leadership and took them through the basics in Social Media Management and also advised them to take their education seriously.

Yaw Pee Yaw also had discussions with the leadership of the Medical School on how to expand their reach on Social Media.

Speaking on behalf of the leadership of the school, the Dean, Prof. Tabiri, was elated that such a meeting went on. He stated that they had learnt a lot out of the meeting and believed they will take the recommendations given seriously.
The UDS Medical School is 10 years old in 2022. The leadership of the University has, therefore, mapped out various activities to mark the occasion.
