There are currently forty-six (46) colleges of education in Ghana. However, the concentration of Colleges is in the Ashanti and Eastern Regions, with Ashanti Region having eight (8) and the Eastern Region having seven (7) Colleges of Education.
It is only Savannah Region that does not have a College of Education currently. Ahafo, Bono East and the North East Regions have one College of Education each.
