Two of Opoku Ware School’s athletes have been called up by the Ghana Athletics Association to be part of the team for the 5-Nation U18/20 Championships which will be held in Cote D’Ivoire from 19-20 April 2024.

The two athletes, sprinter Dennis Appiah Minka (Odenkey) and High jumper Prince Yaw Gyasi Adu played pivotal roles in the 2023/2024 Inter-School and College Super-Zonal athletics competition which was held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
