The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has honoured 105 workers who have reached the compulsory retirement age of 60 years.
The retirees, including thirty (31) senior members, twenty-one (21) senior staff, and fifty-three (53) junior staff from various departments and sections of the University, were honoured at a Send-Off and Long Service Awards Ceremony.
Each retiree was awarded a citation and received varying items including fridges and freezers, television sets, living room furniture and gas burners depending on the length of service.
